Rocío QUILLAHUAMAN

Rocío Quillahuaman (Lima, 1994) arrived in Barcelona at the age of 11. She studied Audiovisual Communication and has worked as an editor in television programmes. In 2017 she started drawing fanarts of friends and celebrities for fun, but it got out of hand: she has drawn more than 300 portraits that she has exhibited in Madrid and Barcelona. In 2018 she started creating animation videos that quickly became very popular on her social media networks for their critical and humorous tone. She currently makes animations for her personal Instagram account (where she is followed by more than 177,000 users) and collaborates monthly with Yorokobu magazine and other platforms. To this day she has made almost 300 animations. She has also written her first book, Marrón, published by Blackie Books.
