Marcel VELÁZQUEZ

Essayist and tweeter. PhD in Latin American Literature from the Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar (Quito). Senior Professor of the Faculty of Letters at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. His last book Hijos de la peste, published by Penguin Random House, obtained honorable mention in LASA in the Academic Book Award in Peru in 2020. He is a specialist in literature and history of the 19th century in the Andean region.
