John Galán Casanova (Bogotá, 1970) is a poet, essayist, chronicler, translator, and columnist for El Espectador. In 2018 he republished his poetic work in the volume Envío vers.o.s OBRA RE-UNIDA 1993-2018. Last year, he published his sixth collection of poems, El inmortal. He is the author of the biographies Luis Tejada. Vida breve, crítica crónica (2005) and Entrena como un salvaje, pelea como una bestia. El Tigre Colombiano y la época dorada de la lucha libre (2022).
