Andrés RAMÍREZ

Andrés Ramírez joined the then Random House Mondadori in 2006 as literary director, in 2020 he took over the position of Literary and Pocket Editorial Director. He is currently in charge of the publishing, editorial coordination and editorial departments. He studied Hispanic Literature at the National Autonomous University of Mexico and received a scholarship in 1997 from the French government for his publishing work. In 2018 the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Nuevo León recognised him for his career with the Premio al Mérito Editorial Award. He has also published three books of poetry, including Zapping. His publishing work began 27 years ago at the Joaquín Mortiz literary imprint, and during his career he has been in charge of various imprints such as Grijalbo, Debate, Lumen, Debolsillo and Literatura Random House in Mexico.
