Community leader for 20 years. Native of the black community of Isla Fuerte. She has been working in community organisation, enabling the management and implementation of projects for the benefit of Isla Fuerte. In 2004, a laboratory called LEO was held where the community expressed their needs and from there the training of young people through SENA was started in order to guarantee the natives the administration of their programmes. In 2008, through her intervention in the government council held in Arjona, Bolivar, it was asked and expressed to the president in office all the needs of the community and he immediately responded to the call and the energy project that has been the basis for the development of Isla Fuerte was installed. Among the projects carried out by her administration are: energy substation, infrastructure of the educational institution, life centre for the elderly, child development centre, street paving, sanitation project for toilets and septic tanks, fishermen's collection centre and the community library. Currently, as the legal representative of the Isla Fuerte Community Council, she has obtained the order of acceptance of the collective title of Isla Fuerte.
