Holds a Mater's degree in Territorial Studies at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. PhD in Geography at the University of Kentucky. Associate Professor at the University of Cartagena, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and former Director of the Masters in Social Conflict and Peacebuilding at the same university. His research work has focused on issues such as inequality, poverty, human development, forced displacement, segregation and gentrification. Winner of a Clacso grant for research on Migration and Pandemic in Latin America.
