(Queretaro, 1987) Ancira has published essays, short stories, and literary reviews in various electronic and print media outlets. She is the author of the short story collections Tusitala de óbitos, El vals de los monstruos, Tristes sombras and Despojos (winner of the 2021 Laura Méndez de Cuenca National Literature Competition). She currently gives story writing workshops and courses in fantasy literature.
