Bachelor’s degree in History and a Master’s degree in Cultural Management and Cultural Policy. She has received numerous awards for her work, including:
1988 – Young Talents Distinction of the City of Buenos Aires;
2013 – Member of the Order of the British Empire, awarded by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II;
2015 – Cross of the Order of Isabella the Catholic, awarded by His Majesty King Felipe VI;
2022 – Knight of the Order of the Star of Italy, awarded by President Sergio Mattarella;
2023 – Ambassador of the Wallonia Region (Kingdom of Belgium);
2024 – Included by Forbes magazine in the list “75 Latin Women to Follow”.
Since 2025, she has been a member of the jury of the Princess of Asturias Awards for Literature. Since its founding, she has been Director of the Hay Festival Segovia, Spain.
