Luis CALATAYUD

calatayud-luis Chartered architect with 19 years of professional experience, graduate of the Master's degree in Advanced Architectural Design at the University of Buenos Aires in Argentina and of the Master's degree in Built Heritage Conservation at the National Engineering University of Lima. He is a lecturer and researcher, investigating issues related to the city, heritage and architectural design. He is a Professor at the Catholic University of Santa MarĂ­a and the Technological University of Peru. His career has led him to university teaching with a vocation for research, and he has given presentations on the subject at various universities in Peru and abroad, recently speaking at the Fourth London Design Biennial. He is a member of the Peruvian chapter of DOCOMOMO, which advises UNESCO on matters related to built heritage. He has been a consultant for the Regional Government of Arequipa and the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation on heritage, landscape and urban development. He is currently the head partner of the CG Arquitectos studio, and editor of the architecture blog Ciudad Fragmento.
