Patricia VILLANUEVA

(Lima, 1974). Visual artist, curator and educator, she graduated with a gold medal in Fine Art from the Corriente Alterna Art School, under the direction of Luis Lama, in 1998 in Lima, Peru. She has exhibited her work in multiple shows both in Peru and abroad. She has been a recipient of the 2001 Pollock-Krasner Foundation Fellowship, the 2001 Passport for an Artist Award, and the 2005 UNESCO-Aschberg Fellowship, among other honours. In January 2016 she entered the Lima Art Museum-MALI as Curator of Educational Projects and since 2020 she has been the Curator of Mediation and Head of Communications at the same museum. She is Kai's mother.
