Patricia PINTO

Journalist, researcher and consultant on matters related to communication and citizen participation. She formerly worked on the investigative team of the weekly El Búho in Arequipa and is currently Head of the Advocacy and Communication Unit at the NGO Descosur, where she has worked for 14 years. She participates in specialized work groups, delegated by the institution, such as the EITI Regional Commission, the Arequipa Regional Anti-Corruption Commission, and others. She has published on monitoring the extractive industries and articles on different topics in Peru Hoy, Quehacer and portals such as Infosur. She is a speaker on topics related to transparency, accountability, surveillance and citizen participation.
