Christopher ACOSTA

acosta-christopher Investigative journalist. His reports, which have revealed networks of corruption, financial fraud and organized crime, have been published in Poder magazine, by the newspapers El Comercio and La República; and shown on Latina Televisión, where he heads the Investigative Unit. He has been a fellowship holder at the García Márquez Foundation, Georgetown University, and the Lincoln Institute. He is part of the team at the Press and Society Institute (IPYS), with which he organizes the Latin American Conference on Investigative Journalism (COLPIN). In 2019 he won the National Journalism Award. Acosta is the author of Plata como Cancha (2021) and this year he published Presidentes por accidente (2023).
