barletti-giovanni A lawyer by training, a graduate of the Catholic University of Santa María in Arequipa and a member of the Moquegua Fine Art Association. In 2010 he published the book of short stories El que no corre, vuela (Dragostea), in 2012 he published the book of novellas Dabai, Chelo, dabai (Cascahuesos), and that same year he won first place in the poetry category of the floral games organized by the Catholic University of Santa María. In 2013, his story book La casa amarilla won first place in the competition organized by the La Paz publisher Género Aburrido. In 2017 he published the novel Catálogo de personajes miserables with Aletheya in Arequipa. His book of stories La casa amarilla was published in 2013 by the Bolivian publisher Género Aburrido, in 2015 by Hijos de la lluvia in Puno and in 2019 by Baluarte. His work appears in the Nor Sud anthology of contemporary fiction from northern Chile and southern Peru, put together by the Chilean publishing house Cinosargo, and also in the anthology Paralelo sur. Antología esencial del cuento surperuano and more recently in the Moquegua anthology of contemporary fiction Alguien habita en esta casa. He edits the Revista de Literatura Moqueguana and has worked with the Ministry of Culture on the compilation Aquel puerto donde llegan los mares; Antología de la literatura de Ilo. He is currently pursuing postgraduate studies in Art at the National University of San Agustín in Arequipa.
