de-ybarra-edward Arequipa, 1988. Cultural manager, programmer, curator, filmmaker, recorder and researcher. Member of the Bulla Cultural Association; Director of Corriente, an event dedicated to Latin American non-fiction film; Director of Serpentina: Film Festival for Diverse Childhoods and Youth; Director of the film archive of the Peruvian filmmaker José Antonio Portugal; Director of the Arequipa Printmaking Biennial; and member of the team of the Southern Peruvian Film Archives Network project. Additionally, since 2014, he has organised film exhibitions that have been presented in different Latin American institutions and has been the director of short films, including Dictado (2016), Las imágenes las imágenes las imágenes (2017) and Paisaje 01 (2021), which have been shown at festivals and institutions such as Cámara Lúcida, Frontera Sur, BAFICI, Aricadoc, Transcinema, Cineteca Nacional de México and the Cinemateca de Bogotá. He has edited Inventar el Cine: Propuestas y reflexiones de siete proyectos latinoamericanos que incitan la experiencia cinematográfica en escuelas u otros entornos de aprendizaje habitados por infancias y juventudes (2020), and also Sombra Deslumbrante N° Uno (2019) and Sombra Deslumbrante N° Dos (2022), the Corriente event reports.
