Gabriela Llanos is a journalist, writer, cultural manager and creative writing teacher. She studied Information Sciences and did the Master’s Degree offered by the Spanish national radio company and the Complutense University of Madrid. She has worked as a director, presenter, producer, scriptwriter, announcer and reporter on news, culture, social, sports and entertainment programmes on Spanish national radio, Radio Exterior de España, Spanish national television, Cadena SER Madrid and on Prisa Internacional’s WRadio. She has been a radio host on Grupo Prisa’s Cadena Dial, a concert programmer at the Sala Liberata in Madrid, one of the producers of the Benicasim Festival, and a road manager at the company Contemporánea Producción Artística. As a fiction writer, she has published the fictionalized testimony Facundo Cabral, crónica de sus últimos días, and the novel Viejo Caserón de San Telmo. She has also contributed to the short story anthologies Huellas en el mar, Las noches de Clairmont and Haciendo Cuentos. Her most recent work is Cuando fuimos inmortales, a novel published by Plaza y Janés in January 2023. She teaches workshops on creative writing, public speaking, effective communication and literary journalism. She has founded the cultural brand Coordenadas Literarias through which she organizes literary experiences that combine trips, talks and conferences.
