Social communicator, Master's degree in Social Development and PhD in Communication. She is a research lecturer at the Technological University of Bolívar.
Co-author of the book Narrativas Verdes: historias de mujeres emprendedoras desde el corazón del Caribe colombiano (Green Narratives: Stories of Women Entrepreneurs from the Heart of the Colombian Caribbean) (2025), she has been an international speaker at conferences on communication, gender and culture, including the 5th International Conference on Gender Studies and Sexuality, held in Paris in 2024. In her doctoral thesis, she critically analyses the sentimental education of women in Latin American melodramas.
