Mireille Fanon Mendès France is a legal consultant and former expert at the United Nations Working Group on People of African Descent, where she served as Chairperson and contributed to advancing human rights and racial justice globally. She is the Founder and Co-President of the Frantz Fanon Foundation, dedicated to promoting the legacy and thought of Frantz Fanon in contemporary struggles for dignity, equality, and decolonization. In addition to this, she is an active member of the International Association of Democratic Lawyers and serves on the Permanent Peoples’ Tribunal of the Lelio Basso Foundation, continuing her commitment to defending human rights and advocating for peoples’ sovereignty and justice worldwide.
