Abraham Jiménez Enoa (Havana, 1988). Writer of the non-fiction book La isla oculta (Libros del K.O). He was a columnist for The Washington Post and has published reports and opinion pieces in The New York Times, BBC, El País, Aljazeera and Gatopardo, among other media outlets. He has won the International Press Freedom Award from the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ), a Sigma Delta Chi award given by the Society of Professional Journalists, the Inter-American Press Association award, the One Young World Journalist of the Year Award, the Lyra Mckee Award for Bravery and received a Michael Jacobs scholarship from the Gabo Foundation. He co-founded El Estornudo, an independent Cuban magazine. He is the author of Aterrizar en el mundo.
