Claudia Patricia Aponte Restrepo, Medicine graduate from the University of Antioquia, Master’s in Clinical Neuropsychology from the University of San Buenaventura and PhD candidate in Basic Biomedical Sciences specialising in Neurosciences. Member of the Neurosciences Group of Antioquia at different levels of research training, starting from undergraduate level, I currently work as an assistant researcher on different projects related to the search for cognitive markers for neurodegenerative diseases and in several clinical trials that have been carried out and are in the process of approval to start in 2025. With the Neuropsychology and Behaviour Group, I am doing my doctoral thesis in a joint project with the GNA on the Study of Neurophysiological Biomarkers of Alzheimer's Disease, focussing on the analysis of functional connectivity of brain networks in people with a genetic risk of Alzheimer's Disease.
