Laura VENTURA

Laura Ventura is a professor of literature at Carlos III University in Madrid, where she teaches several courses in various undergraduate programs and in the master’s program in Contemporary Spanish Language and Literature. She has been writing since 2008 for various sections of the Argentine newspaper La Nación, where she served as a theater critic until 2015. Her journalistic articles have also been published in Mexico, Colombia, and Chile. Together with Pedro Luis Barcia, she wrote El camino en la literatura. Journey Through Languages and Cultures (2013) and The Underground Worlds of Culture (2021). She holds an international Ph.D. in Hispanic Literature from the Autonomous University of Madrid, with a thesis graded Summa Cum Laude, and received the Carolina Fellowship to pursue a master’s degree at the School of Lexicography of the Royal Spanish Academy.
