Social Communications and Journalism graduate from the Jorge Tadeo Lozano University in Colombia, he is recognized as one of the most important cultural managers in Latin America as a result of projects he has created and developed in favour of humanity. He is a member of various organizations, including: the Latin Grammy Awards Academy in Los Angeles, California; Funmúsica, which organizes the Mono Núñez Festival in Ginebra, Valle del Cauca; the Boyacense Academy of History; the Nariñense Academy of History; the SAYCO Society of Authors and Composers; and the Musa de Oro National Association of Composers. Awards and recognitions that he has received, both in Colombia and abroad, include an honorary doctorate from the CIBU University in Los Angeles, California; a tribute from the Civic Center of New York; and recognition as Cultural Manager of the Year by CONALBOS Colombia. He currently works as a director and columnist for the La Palestra news network.
