Arnoldo Gálvez Suárez (Guatemala) is a writer of fiction and non-fiction. He has published La Palabra Cementerio(2013) and the novels Los Jueces (Monteforte Toledo Prize, 2009) and Puente Adentro (BAM Letras Prize, 2015), translated into German. His latest book, Alguien bailará con nuestras momias (2023), is a collection of three novellas. Reports by him have appeared in Plaza Pública, Words Without Borders, El País, and BBC Mundo.
