Fatima Ouassak is an essayist, and she has already published two of the three essays in a trilogy: Puissance des mères, pour un nouveau sujet révolutionnaire (La Découverte, 2020, winner of a prize for feminist non-fiction) and Pour une écologie pirate, et nous serons libres (La Decouverte, 2023). She is also the author of the literary works, Rue du passage (Lattès, 2024) and Comme Ali (2025). She is the coordinator of the Écologies de la Libérance collection published by Les Liens Qui Libèrent. A very committed anti-racism activist, she founded the Front de Mères parents' union, and Verdragon, France’s first popular ecology house.
