Mariana Salomão CARRARA

Mariana Salomão Carrara is a writer and public defender from São Paulo, Brazil, born in 1986. She is the writer of the novels Se deus me chamar não vou (finalist of Jabuti Prize 2020), É sempre a hora da nossa morte amém (finalist of São Paulo Prize and Jabuti Prize 2022), Não fossem as sílabas do sábado (winner of São Paulo Prize 2023) and A árvore mais sozinha do mundo, published in 2024. In 2025, she published Sabor Paciência, a book for children.
