Sens is a visual artist and illustrator originally from Queretaro, Mexico. His connection with art began at age 13, when he discovered graffiti, an experience that sparked his interest in visual creation. After winning a drawing contest, he was advised to pursue a career in visual arts or graphic design, and so he sought an academic education. After several attempts, he managed to enter university in Queretaro, where he consolidated his professional approach. In terms of his artistic practice, currently Sens creates illustrations on paper and wood primarily using acrylic paint. He also does mural painting in mixed media, with both acrylic and aerosol, allowing him to explore larger scales and urban environments. His work has appeared in more than 60 group exhibitions and urban art festivals in Mexico and abroad. He has presented solo exhibitions in Austria (2015) and San Miguel de Allende, Mexico (2022). Sens' visual approach is distinguished by characters immersed in dreamlike, colourful scenes, often accompanied by animal figures. Through his compositions, he seeks to construct visual narratives that invite the viewer to discover hidden stories in every stroke and colour.
