Trinidad Olarte, a Colombian-Mexican artist, born in Colombia but lives in the beautiful country of Mexico, in the state of Queretaro. She studied visual arts and has been illustrating stories for many years. Since she was a child,she was fascinated by imagining that the drawings in stories were real, that they had a life of their own and came out to play with her. She illustrated everything that was told to her, as if with each stroke she could make the stories breathe. Today, as an adult, she continues to inhabit that wonderful world: she dedicates herself to illustrating children's books. For her, illustrating is a way to complete the written story, to tell it with images, colours and emotions. Each book is an invitation to dream, and each illustration, an open door to the imagination.
