Sani Ladan is African, originally from Cameroon. He holds a degree in International Relations, a diploma in Cyber Intelligence and a Master’s degree in Leadership, Diplomacy and Intelligence. He also served as an adviser in the office of the Spanish Minister for Social Rights in 2021. As a geopolitical analyst, he dedicates his work to the critical examination of African dynamics, migration policies, human rights and security at European borders. A committed pan-Africanist, he also collaborates with the Elín association in Ceuta and sits on the board of trustees of FUNDEC, two organisations that defend the rights of migrants. He is also the creator of the podcast ‘África en 1 click’ and a regular contributor to RNE’s programme on RNE’s Mañana más programme, through which he promotes a different narrative on Africa and the African diaspora. In his books La luna está en Duala (2023) and El latir de un continente (2026), he offers a strategic and penetrating reflection on the asymmetrical relationship between Europe and Africa, as well as on migration, knowledge and epistemic justice.
