A French national, she completed her Bachelor's and Master's degrees at Agrocampus Ouest, in Rennes, France. She graduated with a degree in Agricultural Engineering in 2006 and a Master’s in Sciences in 2009, specializing in Biology Applied to Animal Production and Health. She completed her doctoral thesis under joint supervision; consequently, she obtained her PhD in Agricultural Sciences from the Antonio Narro Autonomous University and a PhD in the Biology and Chemistry of Living Beings from the Doctoral School of Health at the François Rabelais University of Tours, France. She subsequently completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the UNAM’s Institute of Neurobiology, Juriquilla campus, and in 2016 was awarded a Conacyt post for young researchers. She held that position until she was hired at ENES, Juriquilla campus, in 2019, where she currently works as a full-time lecturer on the undergraduate Neurosciences programme.
