Mukami Kowino is an advocate with vast experience in development cooperation and human development work. She has in depth technical knowledge, practical experience, and strategic insights in the dynamics of human rights, public policy, gender equity and leadership. She is a community change agent for women, youth, people with disabilities and other marginalised communities supporting to boost their capabilities in employing their full potential and pursuing income generating activities anchored on inclusivity and community progress.
Mukami is currently the Deputy Country Director at British Council Kenya, leading the Programmes portfolio on Arts and Culture, Education and English.
