Patricia Vázquez del Mercado holds a degree in Education from the Universidad Panamericana (UP), a Diploma in Public Policies for Social Development in Mexico from the Center for Economic Research and Teaching (CIDE), a specialization in Global Governance from the German Institute for Development (DIE), a Master's degree in Comparative Public Policies from the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences (FLACSO), and a Master's degree in International Education Policies from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Patricia served as an advisor to the Governing Board of the National Institute for the Evaluation of Education (INEE). She was Secretary of Public Education for the State of Puebla and has held various positions in international organizations and civil society for 20 years. She is a member of the global Karanga movement, an ambassador for Learning through Play for the Lego Foundation, and a member of the executive committee of Mujeres Unidas por la Educación (MUxED). She is currently the Executive President of Mexicanos Primero.
