Luis Sandoval was born in Mexico City in 1994 and currently resides in Queretaro. In 2013 he enrolled in the Bachelor of Visual Arts course at the Autonomous University of Queretaro. Focussing primarily on the visual arts, he has been a Santiago Carbonell Foundation fellow. He is the co-founder, along with Alba María González Leal, of Mishin Ediciones, a company dedicated to the publication of Japanese manga.
