DOS DIABLOS

Mexican painter and illustrator who began his artistic career in the United States while working as an editorial designer/illustrator for the newspaper Reforma. Known for his dark, provocative, and symbolic style, he is situated within the Dark Art and Modern Surrealism movements, which led him to develop a distinctive character that quickly captured international attention. After leaving graphic journalism, Dos Diablos dedicated to painting and character design, which led him to exhibit his work in various countries and collaborate with film studios such as Warner, Sony, Universal, and MGM. He has also created book covers, posters for Funko and renowned rock bands such as Slipknot. He has held exhibitions in multiple galleries in the United States and Australia, establishing himself as a figure in contemporary Lowbrow art scene. He currently lives and works between Los Angeles and Guadalajara, where he continues to produce paintings and collaborate on creative projects internationally.
