Marta Rebón is a writer and literary translator. She has translated prominent authors, including Nobel laureates Svetlana Alexievich and Boris Pasternak, and has won awards for her versions of Vasili Grossman's Life and Fate and Georgy Vladimov's The Faithful Ruslan. After En la ciudad líquida, an essay that interweaves translation, travel chronicles and literary criticism, his most recent work is El complejo de Caín, in which he tackles the Russian invasion of Ukraine from a cultural perspective. She is a weekly contributor to La Vanguardia, and to the supplement La Lectura in El Mundo, as a literary critic.
