Alfonso ALEGRE HEITZMANN

Alfonso Alegre Heitzmann, poet and essayist, has directed, with Victoria Pradilla, the magazine Rosa Cúbica. Part of his poetic work is in dialogue with artists such as Antoni Tàpies, Albert Ràfols-Casamada, María Girona and Vicente Rojo. From his own experience of poetry, he has studied the work of Juan Ramón Jiménez, and has edited Lírica de una Atlántida, as well as his collection of letters. In 2019 he was awarded the Antonio Domínguez Ortiz prize for his book Días como aquellos. Granada 1924. As a poet, he has published Sombra y Materia (1995), La luz en la ventana (Mexico, 2001), La flor en lo oscuro (2003), Agón. Contemplación de Antoni Tapies (2008), El camino del alba (Tusquets Editores, 2017) and Hueso en astilla (Tusquets Editores, 2024).
