Luis ZUECO

He achieved international success with his fascinating Medieval Trilogy: El castillo, La ciudad and El monasterio, three suspense novels set in the most emblematic architectural settings of the era. His subsequent books, El mercader de libros (2020) and El cirujano de almas (2021), established him as one of the country’s most important novelists. In 2023, he published El tablero de la reina, a work on the origins of modern chess and the rise to power of Isabella I of Castile. Following this historical vein, he published El mapa de un mundo nuevo (The Map of a New World) in 2024.
