Biologist Miguel Delibes de Castro has been a collaborator and Research Scientist at CSIC and is currently a research professor and director of the Doñana Biological Station. He has authored around 120 research articles in international journals, 70 in Spanish, and 25 book chapters. He is a member of the Royal Academy of Exact, Physical, and Natural Sciences and president of the Spanish Society for the Conservation and Study of Mammals. He has received the National Award for Conservation of Nature and several other prestigious accolades.
