Thomas R. Berg is an award-winning author. His first book Theatre of the World. The History of Maps won the Norwegian Brage Award for best non-fiction book in 2017. His latest book is To the Ends of the World. The History of Spices, published in 2021. His work has been published in 16 countries, and he's currently writing a cultural history about astronomy and the impact the skies above us have had on our history, technology and religions. It will be published in October 2026. He is married to a wonderful wife, and has two children and a dog. Their home is in Oslo, Norway.
