Marie-Pier Lafontaine is a Canadian writer. In 2022, she published a feminist essay, Armer la rage. Pour une littérature de combat (Héliotrope). Her first novel, an autofiction titled Chienne (Héliotrope, 2019), won France's Prix Sade. Both books have also been translated in Spanish by Agustina Blanco, and published by Ediciones Godot, Argentina, under the titles Perra (2024) and Armas para la rabia (2023).
