Pascal Riviale is responsible for the collections of the 19 th -21 st Century Heritage archive at the French National Archives. He holds a PhD in History and specializes in the history of relations between France and Peru (travel, explorations, emigration) and in the history of American collections in French museums. He is a research associate at the Centre for Ethnology and Comparative Sociology (CNRS-Université Paris-Nanterre) and an associate member of the Institut Français, in Andean Studies.
