Fabian DRENKHAN

Fabian works at the interface of glaciology, water resources and climate change adaptation in the Tropical Andes, with a regional focus in Peru. He holds a PhD in Geography from the University of Zurich, where he collaborated on the Glaciers Project (2012–2019). From 2019 to 2022, he spent a postdoctoral period at Imperial College London, coordinating part of the RAHU Project on water security in the Peruvian Andes. Fabian contributed to the recently published IPCC Working Group II’s Sixth Assessment Report on water resource adaptation in Central and South America. Currently, Fabian works as a full-time research lecturer in the Geography and Environment Department at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
