Claudia Vega is the founder of Whose Books, a social-impact indie bookstore in Dallas’ Oak Cliff neighborhood, and the nonprofit ARCO (Activating Reading Communities Organization). She is committed to removing barriers to book access and fostering a vibrant, inclusive reading culture in Dallas. With over 20 years of experience in public education, Claudia continues to enrich her community by curating positive reading experiences and connecting new and seasoned readers through community-centered literary events that celebrate diverse authors and ideas.
