Paula Cuellar Cuellar is an Assistant Professor in History and the “Fellow, Jacqueline and Michael Wald Professorship in Human Rights, Genocide, and Holocaust Studies” in the History Department at the University of Texas at Dallas. Additionally, she is an International Human Rights Lawyer from the University of Notre Dame, as well as a History major and a Human Rights minor Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota. She focuses on modern and contemporary history of Latin America, specifically on human rights violations and mass violence perpetrated in the region during the 20th and 21st centuries, as well as on women, gender and sexuality studies.
