She is a storyteller, producer, and university educator. As a produced playwright and published writer, her work is aimed at justice, equity, and positive and authentic representation for marginalized populations. Janelle is excited to be a part of the 2025 Hay Festival and looks forward to engaging in conversations that build and strengthen cultural bridges through diverse storytelling.
