Saxophonist and composer from Arequipa. She began her saxophone studies in the symphonic band of the British School Peru. She has participated as a guest in the symphonic band of the Universidad Católica Santa María and at the international club. She won second place in the popular saxophone competition at the 2025 Sax Festival. She is currently a student at the Arequipa School of Contemporary Music and aims to promote Afro-Peruvian music and jazz with her group, the Sofia B Afrojazz Project. In a few months, she will travel to continue her studies at The New School of Jazz and Contemporary in New York.
