Screenwriter and lecturer at the University of Lima’s Faculty of Communication, where he does research for the Scientific Research Institute. He holds a Master's degree in Latin American Literature from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. He teaches courses in Audiovisual Narrative and Transmedia Scriptwriting. He works as a writer and consultant for audiovisual projects and applied storytelling content. He has published the books Una ficción desbordada. Narrativa y teleseries (2015), Ficciones cercanas. Televisión, narración y espíritu de los tiempos (2017), Ecos y variaciones de la ficción televisiva (2022), and Un lento fundido a negro (2025); as well as various articles, mainly related to television and film, in magazines such as Contratexto and Ventana Indiscreta. The blog, El Sombrero Mecánica, has a store of articles of particular interest. He has contributed to various fiction and non-fiction projects for television, among them the soap operas Alessandra Luchetti (2013), Danza de lobos (2012), Doble vida (2011), Gardenia (2007), Amada amante (2006), Isabella (1999) and Luz María (1998). He has been a scriptwriter for the police series Amada amante (2005) and Marcone (2007-2008), as well as the documentary Peces de Ciudad (2006) and the feature film El último vals (2011).
