Camilo Rodríguez (Bogotá, 1987) is a Colombian writer and translator, and the author of Crónicas de la Errancia (Hypatia, 2024). He has translated into Spanish works by seminal French authors and thinkers, including Michel de Montaigne (2023, Minerva Editorial), Gustave Flaubert (2020, FCE), and Simone Weil (2025, Libros UNAM). His essays, short stories, and chronicles—featured in journals such as Nexos, Tierra Adentro, and Revista Arcadia—delve into diverse subjects ranging from the Colombian armed conflict to the experience of wandering, travel, and altered states of consciousness induced by lysergic substances. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Creative Writing in Spanish at the University of Houston
