Ana María Parra is a social communicator with a focus on television production, she also studied literature at Javeriana University. With over twenty years of experience, she has developed content for television and international platforms in Colombia, Mexico, Argentina, and Spain. She began her career as a writer for Francisco el Matemático and was the creator of Siempre bruja, Caracol Televisión's first original fantasy series in partnership with Netflix. She was head writer for No fue mi culpa (Disney+), a series about gender violence in Mexico and Colombia, and head writer and co-producer for Los Billis (AG Producciones - Amazon Prime). She was a screenwriter for the documentary Garavito: La bestia serial (Caracol – HBO), based on the investigation to find the whereabouts of one of the greatest serial killers in history. She is the writer and executive co-producer of the thriller produced by AG Producciones Estado de fuga: 1986 (Netflix), based on the massacre that took place in Pozzeto that same year. Despite her career, she continues to work with discipline while living with imposter syndrome.
