Colombian graphic designer with over 25 years of experience as a creative director. His work has been recognised with awards such as Colombia's Lápiz de Acero and the Fundación Once Award at the Madrid Design Biennial. In the publishing field, he has designed, among others, the children's book for NASA El Mundo de Copocuqu (The World of Copocuqu) and for the Colombian Film Heritage Foundation: Carteles de largometrajes Colombianos 1925-2012 (Posters of Colombian Feature Films 1925-2012). Onatra is honorary vice-president of the HAY FESTIVAL Colombia and alternate member of the Board of Directors of the Museum of Modern Art in Cartagena de Indias. Since 2014, he has lived between New York and Cartagena de Indias.
