Pablo MUÑOZ

Pablo Muñoz Rojo was born in Madrid (1990). He holds a degree in Sociology from the Complutense University of Madrid and a Master's degree in International Relations and African Studies from the Autonomous University of Madrid. He has carried out his research work both in Madrid and in Cartagena de Indias, where he currently resides. His work takes a critical look at contemporary power structures, especially those that sustain racial capitalism and the colonial hierarchies that organise the world. From a commitment to political anti-racism, he directs his efforts towards the construction of critical analyses, collective tools and spaces for reflection that contribute to the abolitioni. His lines of research focus on racism, migration and African states. He also contributes to the newspaper El Salto (Spain) and the website El Laberinto del Minotauro (Cartagena de Indias). He is the author of Si es un problema de racismo (Editorial Diwan) and Baloncesto y racismo. Una historia indisociable (Editorial Catarata), as well as co-author of ¿Te puedo tocar el pelo? De la negación al exotismo: experiencias en torno al pelo afro, originally published by the Colombian publisher Proyecto Sin Límites.
