Yasmina REZA

The works of Yasmina Reza are translated into more than 35 languages. Considered as one of the biggest contemporary playwrights, she has won multiple prizes, including two of the most prestigious anglosaxon awards, the Laurence Olivier Award (United Kingdom) and the Tony Award (United States) for her works Art and Le Dieu du carnage (The God of Carnage). Her plays are interpreted worldwide in venues such as the National Theatre of London, Berlin’s Schaubühne or the most renowned Broadway theatres. She has worked with some of the most recognised theatre directors, such as Jürgen Gosch, Krystian Lupa, Luc Bondy, or Thomas Ostermeier. Her literary work has received many awards both in France and abroad, including the Renaudot and the world prize Cino de Duca for her entire body of work. In April 2024, Gallimard published in its Quarto collection a compendium of most of her plays, including Art, Une désolation, Adam Haberberg, Serge, or Anne-Marie La Beauté.
